Sewer screenings are devices used in mixed water sewer systems to separate coarse pollutant materials from overflow water that drains and flows directly to the final discharge (river, lake, sea). In this way, the retained material, is sent to the sewage treatment plant.

We offer different types of devices, both mechanical and electrically controlled, which can be installed in existing or new plants.

Benefits

  • applicability to water spillways of different sizes
  • modular systems
  • easy maintenance (remote control available as an option)
  • high operational safety
  • Self-cleaning technology (even with low overflow rates)

Application fields

flood spillways in mixed sewer systems

Coarse Filtering Devices

Giwa

Mechanical device with self-cleaning grid and comb driven by connecting rod system.
Automatic release mechanism, powered solely by the kinetic energy of the water at the overflow.

LTW

Compact mechanical lamellar devics made of stainless steel with no moving parts. The special arrangement and inclination of the slats ensure effective retention of the floating material.

SAS

Automatic stainless steel screw discharger with cleaning combs Activated by level gauge installed before the discharger.
